So I've just had British Gas around and the damn bolier didn't fault whilst they were here but did when they left. Typical. Here's my problem. On either central heating or hot water mode I get the flashing radiator fault, central heating sensor. This cut in normally in the middle of a shower, which is nice. The Gas man said this was a pressure issue, and i had a bit of a leak, so I took of the offending fitting, smothered it in PTFE and carried on. I then had a hot shower, that worked OK, without faulting. Now after the shower the boiler is stuck in hot water mode. I don't have the pre heat on, but the hot water light is on and the pump is running. The heating is on and i've turned the thermostat up to 30 to ensure demand, but the boiler is just sat on hot water. Any ideas?
