    Morning

I have a baxi platinum 28 HE combi boiler and have noticed the radiators are hot despite not having the central heating on for months.. we have warm showers etc but deffo not had the heating on..

It would seem something is allowing hot water through the system maybe a valve open

Can an expert please advise what the problem could/is likely to be

    Regards

    Stephen

Remove the motorised valve head and run the hot tap making sure the pin comes fully out. But as mentioned possibly divertor sticking/passing. Drain the water and remove the cartridge and replace with new cartridge.

ive unplugged from the motor.. to remove the motor is it as simple as removing the retaining clip and does the motor then come away from the pipework ?

Is it the motor that is replaced or the actual valve ?
