Baxi Solo 2 40pf fires up only from 3rd time

Dear All

my boiler seems to have problem firing up from the first time
each time it has to try 3 times before starting normally

what would this be? Ignition electrode? (it is about 13 years old i guess)

More likely a blocked injector, get it services and request they clean/check the injector and get a gasket for the gas valve handy, incase it falls apart like most do...

This is a job for a registered engineer though. Do not try it yourself.

is it better to call a big company like BrGas or find local Gas Certified Engineer. Are you allowed to give recommendations on whom to use?

Also how big is this problem and how long till the boiler stops working?
