I've recently moved house and we now have a Baxi Solo 2 PF - when it switches off we get a continual clicking noise that seems to be lasting longer as time passes - the only way to stop it seems to be by switching timer switch to continuous then back to timed but even then it comes back at times - any ideas ? could it be sticking relay ? would we need a new PCB.
Rang two plumbers lately but neither have turned up !

It is usually the dry joints on the pcb that cause various faults, but this model is also susceptible to cause strange symptoms when a honeywell mid position actuator faults aswell.

Dont buy a pcb till you have checked the integrity of the plastic sensing tubes to APS. These are a lot less than a pcb and tend to crack or disintegrate. a word of warning though, be careful when re-fitting to the metal tubes which run up the back of the boiler as you can easily lose one in the casing!

Are you thinking of the original solo pf with the orange control knob?, that one does have problems with the aps tubes, the solo 2 has the aps fitted on the hood right next to the fan.
