Baxi Solo 3 recon fans- any good?

The fan is getting noisy on our boiler and needs replacing.

I can source a new one for £200 ish or a recon for £50.

Anyone have any experience of the recon units? Are they worth a try or am i just better off buying the new one?

Based on the lack any response from anyone that's tried one i've gone for the new fan.

My wife's due to give birth in 6 weeks its just not worth the risk of a recon failing and being without heating.
