Baxi Solo 40/4 RS problem

Wonder if anyone can help, just switched my heating on for the first time this year, all was good but as I bled the rad's there seem to be no pressure and no water came out of the the upstairs and the downstairs ones only got hot at the top. I felt the water pump and it was boiling hot so switched the central heating back off.

Do you think the pump is faulty is there anything I can do, or do you think that it could be something else.

if the pump was faulty you would still get air or water out of your rads.

check your small f/e tank in the loft for water.

Sounds like the pump could be running dry.

If the f&e is full then will be a blockage in the cold feed.
