If its the boiler im picturing then remove lower panel on boiler front.

Turn black knob on gas valve to the middle position (think it shows a spark picture) and push it in till it stops.

Hold black knob down and push orange button to create spark. It may need a few attempts to get the pilot lit.

Once lit hold knob for a further 10 seconds and release. The pilot should stay lit.

Turn black knob back to the flame picture. It should now fire up

Does the Low/High settings on the left have to be anywhere specific as this doesnt seem to be working? Thanks

Not important where the thermostat is set to really. If its been off for a while it may well take a few goes to get gas through pilot tube.

If it wont light at all it may well be blocked at the pilot injector. This will need an RGI to remove and clean. Might as well get it serviced at same time.

Ensure the o/heat stat button has not 'popped out'. If it has, depress it and try again (as pablo has described). Pilot lights generally go out for a reason.
