baxi solo wm 30/4 rs fires up then cuts out wihin seconds!!

Hi, i am a registered gas engineer who has recently moved from servicing into boiler repairs with which i am not that experienced so doing lots of learning on the job and from colleagues and now hopefully from guys who i appreciate give up a little time to help others on here.

my problem is baxi solo wm 30/4 rs

the pilot light stays alight when no demand on the boiler.

when demand is there the boiler lights up but 10-20 seconds later the flame and pilot goes out.

any help would be great.

I recommend you join the Combustion Chamber. There you will get all the help from the members.
Gas related advice is not allowed on the public forum.

I think that it is a permanent pilot on that model.

But join the CC where you will be welcomed.

Is it a gravity hot water and pumped heating or fully pumped?

Is it overheating? Have you check the pump is running?
