i have the above boiler and the problem with it is
The main burners will light up but will go out after a short while then light up after a few minutes the go out again ect
Any help would be great

Check your pump is working first of all.

I have listened to the pump its making a slight noise i am unsure but i think its quiteter than before

Put an old towel under it and remove the large silver screw in the middle. Put a flat bladed screwdriver in and see if it is spinning.

When i try to undo screw hot water is coming out do i have to isolate it first

No, it will only dribble, hence the towel under it. It shouldn't take more than a few seconds to check it.

Turning off the isolating valves could cause leaks from within them if they are old.

I have did it i cant feel anything when i put screw driver in it

sounds like ya boiler stat is working, what is the fault? are ya having probs with the heating or hot water? do the radiator's get hot when turned on? which pipes in the airing cupboard/around the pump get hot?

Sounds as though the pump isn't spinning then and the boiler is just heating itself up and switching off.

Check for 240VAC at the pump connections.
