Bay Window Tiles

Hi all,
I need your help. We are looking to getting our front bay tiles replaced and re-sealed etc.. Some leaks in the past and want to make it right.

We have been quoted £1500 to do this. Is this correct? It seems excessive but I am a complete novice.

I've found bay windows very shoddily made, with a light wooden frame supporting plaster on the inside and tiles on the outside. So uninsulated, draughty, and full of spiders.

I'd want to include a roofer's membrane under the tiles

I'd prefer sarking board

then 100mm or more of insulation

then your plaster.
