The beeb said we’d like you to resign Scot, if not we’ll sack you, and they sacked him, no hearing no nothing. He must have a case against them for unfair dismissal.

If he has engaged in underaged poovery, probably best he just keeps his head down.
 
I hadn’t read about that when I posted, he could sue if the allegations are false.
It depends. If he sues the police for invasion of privacy, there's no need for any details to be disclosed.
And I would have thought that his brief would argue that for the police o disclose any details is further damage on his reputation, without any charges having been brought.I wouldn't expect it to get to court, the police would probably settle out of court.
Whereas if he sues the complainant, details are likely to be revealed.
 
Looks like the beeb are saying Scotty withheld key information from them so that is probably why they sacked him
