Hi there,

Question on BBQ's...

The previous owner (we just moved in) put down a thick concrete base and began construction of a barbeque, but didn't finish it, so currently it is just concrete breeze blocks in the shape of a barbeque. It's an 'L' shape with bits sticking out to allow for gas barbeques to be sat on top. The main 'L' is 5 blocks tall, and the bits that stick out are 3 blocks tall.

My question is, whats the best way to finish it off? He mentioned tiling it all over, but i'm just wondering what other things can be done to it? Cheap option would be to just paint it all white. Currently it looks rather hideous. Maybe a screed of sorts for a smooth finish?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam.

knock it down to the base and start again in a nice brick.. it'll look nicer and be what you want rather than what you got stuck with..
