I have fitted my flooring so that it runs up to my prefitted fireplace. Subsequently, there is an expansion gap between the flooring and the fireplace. I have purchased some beading but I am having some problems. The fire hearth is bowed and as a result, I am facing a challenge trying to bend the beading around the bowed hearth. The wood beading is flexible enough to alight with the bow, however I just don't know how to fix it. I planned on using a no-nails adhesive but don't think it will be strong enough with the pressure from the bow.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm just worried that the grab adhesive will eventually wear off and the beading will end up twanging the poor dog in the face. Is grab adhesive that strong to hold it?

I'd say that if you apply it to the full length and hold it firmly in place for a few hours then it should easily hold. I can highly recommend this stuff.
