Hi

I'd be really grateful if someone can help. I have had laminate floor fitted in my dining room and have beading around the edge. I have also had fitted a granite hearth and the beading goes right around the edge of the hearth. I would prefer not to have the beading around the granite hearth. Is there any way that I can remove the beading from around the granite hearth and fill the expansion gap with something that still allows for expansion but so that water cannot get underneath? If so, what could I use to fill the expansion gap?

Thanks

Seriously, I'd stick with the edge beading....laminate flooring needs to move, and its not as if you can move it closer to your hearth and allow it to expand the other way, as its already been laid.
I think any other filler would look a mess, personally.
John :)
