Hi all.I was thinking of signing up with the NICEIC, ive done:

2360 3 years
2391 inspection and testing
2381 16th edition

(might have the numbers the wrong way round)

I was advised by a mate whose already with the NIC that you also need to do a Part P course before you can register as a domestic installer. Is this right? If so, what course should i be looking for, and what qualification will it give?]

I am having second thoughts about the NIC, as ive been told theres a lot of paper work compared to other schemes. Is anyone on a different scheme and has good things to say about it?

There is no need to do the domestic installers qualification, they'll be happy with what you have :)

So if somebody with a inspection and testing certificate, can they register to the NIC? or do they have to have a 16th edition paper as well?
