As promised, here are photos of my sons bedroom, from start to almost finish.
just like in the rest of the house, lovely wallpaper and carpet:
The boiler is in there too, unfortunately:
after I stripped the wallpaper, things got even worse:
filler, a lot of sanding and 3 coats of paint later...
also built a cupboard for the boiler, made out of two 30mins fire doors, with intumescent seals:
underlay down and then Astroturf!
furniture and curtains in:
all that's left to do is getting some jungle themed vinyl stickers for the walls. very happy with it!
