Beetle convertible rear window

Any idea if this can be fixed or is it a specialised job the window has come away from the surround.

There is a programme on Youtube, flipping bangers. I think it was originally on channel 4 but they replaced a glass window in a convertible they did. It was a professional who did it using a special adhesive.
I cant remember which car it was, probably a mini one or an mgf but there are only 3 series and only a few convertibles featured.

Any idea of what I could do to make the roof itself a bit more pliable it doesn't seem to want to reach the else of the window
