Hi I have a Beko Tumble dryer DC71110W and the motor belt (? - the small belt coming from the motor, not the main belt around the drum) has worn and split to a very thin width ( although hasn't snapped yet) and keeps slipping off or will only turn the drum if the machine empty of a only a few light clothes inside.
I think I've found the replacement part here:

Is this the right part and as it looks like I would have to take the machine apart quite a bit to be able to fit it around, is this a realistic DIY job, and any tips on how to do this etc??
thanks

Hi thanks for your reply, although on the model I have I wouldn't be able to get to that part without taking a lot apart as it fitted sideways and not accessible by just taking the back or side panels off. Thanks

No worries, there's always a solution, just not a quick one right?

I'm struggling to find a manual for this model, otherwise it would be easier.

One option is to ring Beko customer services, preferably the dept that deal with parts, and ask them on the easiest option on how to access it, so you can buy a part. Worth a try?
