Beko tumble dryer stopped working at weekend, drum will not move, removed back panel and found the belt had snapped. I have therefore ordered a replacement belt. Would a snapped belt stop the drum from turning or could I have another issue with the dyer too?
Thanks

How old is the dryer ?Belts usually snap for a reason unless it's old and worn maybe your bearing are on the way out and causing the drum to seize.

you have another issue in that the front felt/sponge seal on the drum has come away from the front assy and melted onto the drums front edge you can clean the front of the drum up and replace the felt seal which sticks on the front assy however beko advise replacing the front assy complete first thing you need to do is remove the drum and check out the damage
