Having all sorts of trouble with my Beko dryer!

3 weeks ago there was an awfull burning smell. On further inspection the belt had snapped, but the drum had completely siezed up.

When I fitted a new belt I couldn't find any reason why the drum had siezed up.

It all worked fine for a couple of days then the same happened again.

This time I replaced the belt, front and rear bearings.

I could not find any reason why the drum would sieze up.

The same has happened again this morning!!!!

There is no kinks in the drum, there is nothing anywhere that could stop the drum turning.

The only thing I haven't changed is the felt bearing at the front that the drum rim spins on, but this feels fine.

Has anybody had a similar problem and if so whats causing this problem.

This dryer has one foot in the skip!!!!!!!!!

Was the motor ok that could seize up and only way of telling would be to disconnect the belt and see if drum turns.

Stuck drums usually caused by fluff or rubbish build up round the felt seal. Especially where bearing pads are.

Not done a beko rebuild so not sure on layout for further help.
