Hi,
I want to replace a suspect faulty thermostat in the fridge section of the appliance.
The problem I have is the capillary tube from the thermostat appears to be routed out of sight through the thermal insulation in the wall of the fridge housing and not inside the food compartment. There are no access panels for the evaporator.
Is it possible to replace the thermostat with new.

Yes , just unwind new one and poke it into the tube till you reach the end. There might be a red sicker on the new one so it stops at the top.

Thanks for the answer to my problem.
I didn't realise the thermostat capillary tube could be pulled out, and the new be pushed in through a guide tube.
Many Thanks.
