Beko induction hob power cut malfunction

We had the consumer unit trip out our Beko induction hob the other day when virtually every appliance in the kitchen was on the go at the same time. Its a black 4 hob jobby with and on/off switch and up/down arrows for each hob. Not sure of the model number but at the entry level end of the induction hob world.

When I turned it back on the two hobs on the left hand side are not responding and just display an E, then a 1, then go to 0. (which is the normal starting point) but when I select one of the dodgy hobs and press the arrow to up the power, nowt happens. They just don't operate. But the two on the other side are fine.

Clearly a power surge has knocked something out. My question is, is this a known fault, can it be rectified with a new part in a DIY stylie, do I need a specialist beko/induction appliance engineer. Is it worth any of the above bearing in mind I can probably pick up a replacement off ebay for about £100 and save any parts/call out/labour.

Thanks for any advice!

We had the consumer unit trip out

What letters and numbers are on the thing, inside the consumer unit, that tripped?

Did the lights go out? Or just the downstairs sockets? Or just the cooker circuit?

A photo of your CU with the lid open may be helpful.

The consumer unit/fuse box had no letters or numbers just the dedicated fuse for the hob tripped. No lights or anything else, literally just the hob as its a dedicated feed from the fuse box.
