Beko oven trips RCD

Hi Everyone
Recently my 10 year old Beko double oven has started tripping the RCD shortly after switching on. It does this with either oven and sometimes does reach the set temperature and sometimes doesn't. It really does seem like an intermittent fault arising from varying circumstances . So either oven , either thermostat. No obvious part to think of changing
Thought before I give up and throw it in the skip I'd ask if this is a known fault. I'd feel happier buying a replacement if no one else could guess what the fault was either

Could be a loose connection, faulty element, et al. Do you have or have access to a multimeter and comfortable/competent using it?

I would plumb for an earth neutral fault, which may not even be in the cooker.

As you use more power, you get a volt drop, which raises the neutral above true earth, once it reaches a point where around 26 mA can flow, then it trips.

Two tools, can help find the problem, both cost around £35 for cheapest, and need skill to use, the insulation tester is likely the best of the two for finding the fault, but likely better to get an electrician who both has the tools and knows how to use them.
