My neighbour gave us one of those powerful computer sound systems with a massive woofer. As soon as I fixed it up under the computer desk, our internet went down. We have a Belkin USB thingy linking to a BT Homehub. Is it possible that the magnetic flux from the woofer has goosed the Belkin in some way? I got it going again with help from the Belkin helpline but this morning again it was not playing ball, I don't know what I did to get it going but I did drop the firewall temporarily and it suddenly started working.

Any ideas?

Have you turned off the woofer to see if your wireless network starts working again?

Does that not imply that the Belkin hasn't become "goosed"?

but this morning again it was not playing ball, I don't know what I did to get it going
Did you drop the firewall?

Oh. You did.

and it suddenly started working.
That's good then.

Any ideas?
You appear not to have a problem.
