benidorm or blackpool

a coulp of weeks ago i spent a week -end in blackpool good fun but well and truely run down
6 of us are off to benidorm in october i have been told its like blackpool
but i cant believe that, the brochure looks so good and the place looks newish the price for going to benidorm was cheap compared to the blackpool week-end

In many ways it's very similar. October is Spain's rainiest month and it's not unusual for it to bucket down for a week.

It's also full of pensioners at this time of year.

Go into any bar and you'll hear a wavering and warbling rendition of 'My way'.

Why else do you think you can get a week in Benidorm for a hundred and twenty quid?

I knew someone once that lived in Blackpool but came to visit relatives in Nottingham. They decided to go on a mystery bus trip.
Guess where they ended up?

They even went for a cup of tea at home before traveling back to Nottingham.

In my opinion, Benidorm looks dreadful. I hate all the high rise buildings. It must be so crowded.

I much prefer places like this:

That is Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura. I have stayed in the place top right, with the white bungalows. Its much more relaxed and nice. I think there is a rule on the canary islands about buildings only being 4 stories high, so it doesnt end up looking like that godforsaken place, benidorm.
