Best black silicone sealant

Hi all,

I need to seal a shower tray with black silicone sealant, my options locally are,

Ob1
Mapei mapesil AC120
Mapei mapesil AC Zero
No nonsense 820 sanitary silicone

Which would you choose from the above? Or can you recommend another?

I've had good experience with Mapei both in bathrooms and around the house.

Iirc i have a few bottles and zero and AC are the same product essentially, just zero is the more eco friendly formula / packing. Both are the same range of silicone. I don't actually know if they're all Zero now but some shops keep the old naming schemes

I would go with the Mapei.

OB1 is a ms polymer. Although a great product it is more difficult to smooth. It is much stickier than silicone. If you plan to use silicone profiling tools dipped in dilute washing up liquid the OB1 will stick to them.

If however you were applying a sealant that you want to be able to paint up to the edge of, I would definitely recommend the OB1. Unlike silicone, it will not repel paint.
