Any tips on the best emulsion for new ceilings?

Don't mind doing 3 coats of needed. Just want to make sure I'm using the best paint for the ceilings.

White, Matt and what else?

A paint for new plaster, it is made without the "plastic" content of modern emulsion so it can breath and allow any moisture left to dry out over a few months. Most "Contract" emulsions are suitable just check on the can, I stick to Dulux Supermatt myself. Do a first "mist" coat diluted as advised on the tin then two top coats.

Dulux Supermatt is the dog's wotsits - I've yet to come across a better covering emuslion paint. I find a mist and one proper coat is all that is required on new plaster.
