Advice would be great on the best exterior paint to get for my exterior windows and doors.
l have started rubbing down the windows which are flaking and peeling away to leave alot of the frames and beading down to the bare wood, so l will need a primer first. So what would you recommend for primer, undercoat and topcoat.
l was looking at the dulux weathershield undercoat and gloss (2 and 3)markings on the tin.
Also would it be alright to dilute the paints .

The Weathershield system will offer you good results seeing as you need to prime certain areas you may wish to consider the Weathershield preservative primer as step one, all Trade quality paint systems however will again offer good results.

You could also bring the woodwork to undercoat level and give them one coat of Crown Solo.

Can l dilute the dulux weathershield with white sprits if l find it to thick to get smooth painting on the brush.

Is it best to add White sprit to the tin or as l go along after putting some in a paint kettle. How much roughly should l put in if l mix as l go along ..

I would not be to paranoid regarding the thinning of your paint, you only thin to ease both flow and application, mix and decant into your kettle and if thinning is required add a cap or two of spirit to ease the flow it isn't wise to over thin.
