Best Exterior White Paint for Hardwood Patio Doors

Hi All,

I have a hardwood patio door that was painted with some own brand Homebase exterior paint 2/3 years ago.

It has already started to flake off very badly. Can anyone reccomend the best paint to use? I am assuming i need to do the following:

- Wash door down with soapy water
- Sand down whole door
- Prime wood (any reccomendations for primer?)
- 2 coats of undercoat
- 1 final coat of gloss

Hard woods must have aluminium wood primer applied as a primer so really needs to go back to bare timber. Low grit on a sander should get the worst off.
