I want to insall underfloor heating in a conservatory. The floor will be 100mm concrete slab on 50mm kingspan.

At the moment I'm undecided between vinyl, tiles, and laminate flooring - I don't mind too much really, but wonder which is the most efficient for letting the heat through to the room, rather than being sucked back down into the concrete.

If I lay the UFH between the concrete and laminate/wood, it strikes me that the heat would battle to get through if you believe what the adverts say about the woods insulation properties.

So which is the best floor contruction for helping the UFH function

Cheers

Gary
