av tried a few brands of hammer over the years, and always go back to my trusty estwing, me mate on the other hand like his stanley antivibe, use what you feel happy with

ive been using estwings for approx 20 years, still got my 1st 1 a leather 16oz toffee hammer,my only advice is do not get the leather 1,once it gets wet the leather expands and can fall off the handle.

ok thanks for the tips, anyone used the estwing flat faced hammer?

Vaughn titanium framing hammer this is the top in hammers. Estwings are badly made, the Yanks dont rate them. Stay away from metal shafts unless your a shuttering joiner.

I use Stanley Antivibes, never had an issue with either of them (one claw hammer and one club hammer) Why don't you like them?

dont really know, it didnt feel right felt a little front heavy, will have a look at them in B&Q again becaust ive heard alot of people say they are good, ill give them a second chance :)
