Best quality letter plate for composite door?

Hi, the Yale branded gold colured letter plate on our 5 year old composite door is corroding very badly.

I would idealy like to replace this with a UK made brass letter plate but this may not be as simple as I thought as the cassette type fitted now has a full width opening rather than 2 holes to take the fixing bolts.

If I stay wth the cassette type of letter plate is ther a decent brand I should look for that will not corrode in such a short time?

If you had done something about it a touch early you should have been able to get a free replacement, I do believe its a 5 year guarantee on the standard Yale ones from 5 years ago.
Unfortunately most are cheap, Made in China jobbies.

I have searched the web and found Yale admitted to this problem a few years ago.
