Hello all. Can anyone give me some advice on how to fix this.
Background:
My house is a 1910 to 20's solid brick detached property. The wall in question was dot and dabbed with standard plaster board and since we moved in the wall became damp due to bridging.
I removed the plasterboard yesterday to reveal this.
The wall is West Sea facing so is wet and cold. The chimney stack is removed and the breast is thin and redundant. It is open in the attic and has not been filled.
Can I have advice on how to insulate the wall before re plastering. Is there anything I should definitely not do?
Many thanks.
