Best way to clean a venetian blind

Sponsored Links
Get some rubber gloves, pour this [Zep degreaser]

onto a micro fibre cloth, and just liberally wash the slats with it .
Thanks for the tip, Brigadier. This may be just what is needed. It's not available for delivery, so I should need to wait until a relative is free to go and collect it for me. It will be ready for the next time I clean the blind (just now, it's passable, though not absolutely free from grease). I just hope that it won't eat through the cords!

If you can remove the blind, put it in a warm bath containing ordinary washing powder for an hour then rinse off.
If you cannot remove it then get some woollen gloves and a bucket of hot soapy water, dip a gloved hand in and stick your fingers between the slats to wipe them.
