When my new larder unit is fitted, the edge will be in line with the mark on the wall. I need to move the three gang light switch just over an inch to the right and centralise it between the cabinet edge and the door architrave. I have plenty of play on the cables through the trunking so once I have moved the back box to where I want it, would it be best to pull the cables down through the trunking and turn them 90° into the back box going through the side (adding some more trunking for cable protection) or chase the lot out right the way up to the ceiling and move the whole lot across an inch or so? Obviously I'd prefer the first option but not if it’s a no-no. Ignore the two-way cable rear left as that is disconnected at both ends.
