1. a concrete floor..
2. a chimney breast..
3. a hole for a toilet pipe...

first some background..
i live in a 1st floor ex coincil flat..

the floor between is concrete and appears to be in 2 parts.. a second floor on top of the first..

1. while re-furbing my kitchen i found that there used to be block built cupboards in the corner which housed the boiler by the looks since there are cut off pipes next to where the walls were..

removing the floor revealed some broken off blocks in the floor where 2 small walls had been, and a "channel" where another wall was ( which now has the incomming water pipe in it... )

I need to fill at least the 2 holes where i have now taken the blocks out of.
they are about 2.5 inches deep and 4 inches wide of varyin lengths..
can i use screed to fill them?

2. on removing a wall in the kitchen ( leaving one of the holes above, ) that was butting out from the chimney breast in there ( non-load bearing, i checked with my uncle who is a master builder.. ) there was a piece missing out of the chimney breast on the corner.
the wall was not tied into the chimney breast at all apart from this small section.
the missing bit is about 3 courses high by a few inches deep.. just enough for a block to fit in a bit.. and looks like it was smashed out with a claw hammer..
I need to remove the bits of brick left in and replace with new bricks..

the chimney breast is going to be dry lined back in as most of the plaster fell off while stripping the wallpaper.. so do i need to bother??

3. I want to move my toilet over about 250 mm so need to drill a new hole for the soil pipe and block the old one up..
what is the best way to do this?

I was kind of hoping to just use a core drill and then mortar the "core" back into the other hole.. :)

yes.

not necessarily no. but it will be a bit of bad luck if you happen to want to fix something at this hollow point.

the core will probably break up so brick it up instead.
