Best way to reduce floor screed (scrabble etc.) ?

Hi,

I need to reduce the exisitng floor screed by approx 9mm in isolated areas.

What's the best method to do this ?

scrabble or grind it. Very messy tho, can you not raise the lower areas?

Yeah, I did think of that but I didn't think that you could build latex self levelling by what's required, i.e say 10mm.

What do you think ?

Stopgap 300 goes to 15mm in one coat - 600 base upto 60mm.
Prime the floor first.
