best way to remove wall paper

my kitchen has dark wall paper and i want to remove it & painted white but i dont know wat tools to use. Pleas advice thanks

How about starting off with a steam wallpaper stripper and a good old scraper

You need to identify what the paper is first..if its an ordinary paper then a bucket of really hot water with some detergent in it and big brush or fluffy roller sleeve will do...soak it three ir four times it should fall off

If its a vinyl then you have to take the top layer off first then strip the backing...a steamer wont touch it.
