Yes, since Gaza invaded Israel on October 7th 2023.

Israel has occupied Gaza on and off since 1956.
Even when Israel has not a actual presence in Gaza, the Gazan borders are heavily fortified and controlled by Israel, denying Palestinians the freedom of association with their families in the West Bank.
Any Palestinians approaching the border are fired on by automatically operated gunfire despite Gazans owning and trying to farm land near that border.

It includes a 7-meter wall with sensors, remote-control machine guns and barbed wire in the three areas where the border runs adjacent to Israeli settlements.

So Israel has effectively occupied parts of Gaza, even when they weren't occupying the whole of Gaza.
Israel controlled any goods entering Gaza from Israel, so effectively they were subjecting Palestinians to rationed goods allowed into Gaza at the whim of Israel.

Hamas, (and Houthis, Hezbollah, etc) seem to mount limited but specific counter attacks. But Israel's action is insidious, incremental but tenuous nonetheless.
It passes legislation to legalise it's policies and actions, in occupied territories, despite they being against and in contradiction to UN oversight.

And as well as what you wrote being blatantly untrue, it's also a failed swerve of the fact that Palestine isn't just Gaza.

There's also the West Bank, which is illegally occupied by and is being illegally settled by, Israel.
