The figure you mention, which I am not allowed to mention here, is not an hourly charge but a fixed diagnostic fee and has no time period associated with it in my case. Others may charge the same figure as an hourly charge.

After diagnosing a problem I might charge something extra to resolve it. Cleaning a plate is a messy process involving two chemicals which is better done off site.

You do not have any real customers so how can you do less work ?????

Well if that was the case, I don't know why one today paid his bill and gave me a bottle of 15% Australian 2006 wine. But then he is a chef and also owns 200 vines in Italy and makes up to 1000 litres of his own wine there each year.

according to my £5 rule, any bottle of wine over that price is usually ****e. trust me ive tried loads over the years. fancy labels, gilly gould(whatever) keith Floyd (piiisssshead) its all bolliaacks.

If you can afford it and it tastes nice (to you), drink it. feck me , even diamond white and white lightening have a following!
