I'm looking for bifold doors to close off the back half of our knocked-through living room for the times when I need to work away from the TV and kids. I found these:

But they seem a bit expensive for what I want. I want to paint them white so there's no need for oak, but I do want heavy duty doors to help block out sound - I know complete soundproofing's impossible but the more I can block out the better. Also I need to span a 6ft gap so I need a bi-fold door and a half at each side.
Does anyone know where I can get what I'm looking for? Is the track necessary? How much would it cost roughly to make up solid doors from scratch?
