Biasi 28 Combi Pressure.

The Biasi ones dont need repressurising often, if ever!

Do wot Tony...you got funny water in your systems over there?

Biasi vessels are no better than average and in SE London that means completely flat within 3 or 4 years with no maintenence.

The only decent vessels are found on the older Vaillants made by W+P. The newer Vaillant vessels are junk like the rest of them.

At least Biasi had the brains to put the scraider down the bottom on the 24's etc which is a lot more than can be said for the idiots at Worcester and Glowworm.

Other day had to disconnect the vessel pipe on the early 24CDi just to get to the scraider valve.

I cannot think of any Biasi with the air valve at the bottom!

Can anyone tell me where it is on an Ideal Sprint?

is serviced every year by BG....

No it ain't :!: :!: :!:
yes it is....ive got that homecare cover thingy...my missus pays about £15 per month i think it is...they come every year...just before winter.......mind you not much of service, they open the boiler...check the pressure with a gauge...vacuem out the bolier...thats about it reall....dont drain the water or anything...ido that myself....lol

obviously not on my old patch then flue gas analyser up the flue, quick lick round with hoover, cup of tea, sign the paperwork on to the next victim and no engineer on my patch did anything more!

8 jobs & if i wasn't home by 2.30 it was a bad day!

So, how do I check the pressure vessel ?
What should the pressure be ?
Am I correct in assuming that I need to repressure it with the CH system pressure at zero ?
Tell me please ?

:?:

Yesm empty the systemn (or isolate boiler and empty that) and leave the drain point open. Then top EV pressure to 1 and a bit bar.

Restablish the system and set system pressure to 1 bar. Check that the vessel still has air in it (quick push in Schraider (spelling?) valve.

Look in FAQ and follow that exactly.

Air to 0.9 Bar open system and water to 1.5 Bar cold.
