Biasi boiler Riva Compact HE M96

I have 2 of these boilers less than 4 years old. One day the oldest one stopped heating the room although the thermostat was sending a signal to the boiler to turn the heating on, nothing happened. We swapped the thermostats and the heating worked for a couple of hours then stopped. Both thermostats working. Hot water is working but no heating.
Any ideas out there

new boilers? seriously.

house big enough to justify 2 boilers, yet cheap carp fitted. sorry just telling it how it is.
