Salus RT500rf and Biasi Riva Compact HE

I have a Biasi Riva Compact HE want to fit a Salus RT500rf programmable thermostat.

Currently the flex from the boiler goes to a single switched plug socket on the wall.

Will I need to fit a fused spur for the programmer and leave the power for the boiler as it is?
