Biasi combi boiler

Help!! I have plenty of hot water but absolutely no Central Heating. I have had 2 repair man working on it and still not repaired . I have had a new pump and and new diverter but they don't seem to be the problem .

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

The problem will be with your repair men, or how you choose them, or both.

The pump is used during hot water delivery so obviously not the cause of the problem!

What exactly are these repairmen?

Where did you get them?

I hope you are not paying for parts whcih have not cured the problem!

Model of boiler? Does the boiler do anything when you turn your central heating on or does it just sit quietly doing nothing?

Boiler model is Riva Compact M90E.24S

I am not having to pay for anything and these are reliable , honest repair men.

When I turn heating on, it tries to fire up, but then cuts out.
When this first started, I ran hot water and then switched ch to constant and that worked, but now nothing happens.

They arrive at the expected time and dont steal anything!

But they dont seem very good at diagnosing boiler faults and even suggest the pump which must be working because its used during hot water useage.

Is the red light operating on the DHW flow switch ALL the time or only when hot water is being used?

Is the diverter valve motor moving correctly when power is applied to it?

All these are basic background checks that I would be doing within the first two minutes in front of the boiler! Is the pump proving switch being operated on both CH and DHW demands? Is the timeclock operating correctly and giving the correct signal to the boiler? Does unplugging the timeclock lead give CH ?

Its one of the simplest boilers on the market.
