I still have a problem where heating works fine. However turn on tap for hot water and everything seems to run but no flame kicks in. This boiler has now had, new thermisters Temp probes) microswitches, PCB, a complete diverter repair kit installed so all diverter valves and membranes have been replaced. A helpful person (Tony) gave me biasi's number and they were really helpful, which led to installation of the service kit.
It seems to be something with the water flow, beacuse if I manually depress the hot water microswitch it lights the flame, but as soon as I turn on hot water tap even that cuts out...
I will of course give biasi technical a call Monday and i supposer then a biasi specialist...But just wanted any ideas from you more expert folk...

If you replaced these bits yourself then that may explain why you dont know why its not working but any boiler engineer would know.

The switch at the front is the system flow switch. My best guess is that this is not being operated on hot water demand because the plate HE is blocked.

Demand DHW and remove that switch and depress the lever with a matchstick. If that causes it to fire up then watch temperature for a couple of minutes and tell me what temperature it reaches.

Hi Tony, thanks for the interest !! since my last update the heating is now not working either, I noticed a slightly noisy pump...Is it possible that the pump is knackered ? Also if I released the centre screw to see if it was operating it kept throwing out water (lots of it), If it had been on its way out could it have been enough to keep the heating limping along but not the water ??

I have arranged for an engineer to call on Thursday, but its one of those unfinished bits of business for me, I would have liked to have solved it myself...Cheers for your help..
