Hi people,

Just wondering if anyone here can help me with my boiler... I don't think it's broken cos it was just working yesterday before I turned off the main house electrical switch off....but after turning it back on say after 10 mins, I've not been getting hot water!
I can hear the boiler when I turn the hot water tap on but there's a sound missing, usually like an "ignite" sound...
any suggestions pls. reply back.

Is the system pressure about 1.5 Bar?

Is the red lock out light in the centre on? If so reset.

Is the green light flashing fast? If so turn the right knob to "O" position for three secs and see if that resets it.

If none fixs it then you will probably have to call an engineer.

Thanks for the reply,

The pressure is set to 1.5 bar and the red lock out light is not on....
The green light flashes every 2 seconds, but after 30 seconds or so, whilst running the tap the green lights starts flashing fast.

Is there any reason why it caused this after I switched off the main electrical switch when it was working just fine before I did that?

I can see no logical connection with turning off the power and your boiler fault.

You are only mentioning hot water. Presumably its the same problem with CH ?

It sounds as if you have had a coincidental boiler fault which will probably need to be diagnosed by a professional.

Woke up yesterday morning and suddenly there's hot water again!! Thanks for ur replies Tony.....
