boiler will not ignite & sometimes locks out when temperature is reched on ch. still get hot water but pressure seems to rise as does the temperature! Any ideas as to what`s going on???

How can it lockout if it does not ignite on CH ?
When you say lockout do you mean the red light comes on?
It sounds like a gas/combustion related problem which we dont give DIY advice on. But clarify the above and we may be able to give general guidance.
I hope you realise it has a 1-3 minute anticycle delay before CH will come back on ???

sorry wasn`t too clear. It fires up normally hot water is fine but ch gets very hot then it locks out (sometimes ie. red light comes on) but it won`t ignite when calling for heat on ch. Loads of clicking and switches operating but doesn`t hold a flame. Just changed ch temperature probe. Also pressure gauge shows an increase when ch heating up.
Thanks for your reply but it looks like it was the ch temperature probe that needed changing
