Hi,

I've got an issue with the latch mechanism on my external aluminium bifold door.

One of the two latches on the door which is a pin with a metal roller on the end has been dented and distorted. It no longer rotates freely and has worn away. This is the lower latch, the top is in good condition. Photos of both attached.

How can I replace this bit? I've tried turning the allen key bolt inside the pin but it appears this is only for alignment, not undoing the pin. It looks like I have to dismantle the whole latch/lock system to gain access.

Hopefully I can get a simple replacement and not have to get a brand new lock/latch setup.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick.

They don't unscrew, its a roller cam used for compression adjustment hence the little dash on each roller, you'll need a complete new mechanism if it really bothers you
