Big Dogs

Have been to look at a job, laying laminate flooring. The customer has two very large (St. Bernard) dogs that have access to the garden and then the living room so will be dragging in mud and water on mucky paws.

I have suggested going for a kitchen/bathroom type floor, will this be robust enough or is there something else on the market?

There nothing that will stop the nails of large dogs marking floor other than

regular use of dog nail clippers and filing nails smooth.
